The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Physics Content Review Specialist for remote contractor work focused on AI training in the sciences. You will evaluate and annotate scientific data, equations, and experimental findings across physics domains.
You will also review physics problem sets and research summaries, provide expert feedback on accuracy and clarity, and author or edit detailed reports, analytical write-ups, and experimental descriptions. The role includes identifying gaps in data quality or coverage and recommending improvements for stronger model development.

What You'll Do

Requirements
This opportunity is listed as entry level, but it requires a strong academic and technical foundation in physics. Candidates should be able to evaluate scientific explanations carefully and communicate complex ideas accurately in English.
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline
- Strong command of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and modern physics
- Experience authoring or reviewing research papers, experimental reports, or technical write-ups
- Experience with data analysis, experimental design, or computational modeling in physics
- Ability to evaluate scientific explanations for accuracy and clarity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for a range of audiences
- Comfort working remotely and collaborating asynchronously
- English-language writing and communication skills
