Pet Relocation Specialist - Spain
Lakbyte is looking for an experienced and client-focused Pet Relocation Specialist to help clients prepare and coordinate pet relocation to Spain.
This is a client-facing role for someone with previous experience assisting with international pet relocation or pet travel documentation. Experience with Spain, EU pet entry requirements, airline pet travel procedures, veterinary documentation, export permits, import requirements, and crate/flight coordination is strongly preferred.
You will communicate directly with clients, guide them through pet relocation requirements, coordinate documentation timelines, and help ensure that each pet relocation file is handled carefully, accurately, and professionally.

Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with clients regarding pet relocation requirements, documents, timelines, and next steps
- Review pet relocation documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Prepare customized checklists based on the pet’s country of origin, travel route, airline, and Spain/EU entry requirements
- Assist clients in organizing vaccination records, microchip records, rabies documentation, veterinary certificates, export documents, owner declarations, flight details, crate information, and other supporting records
- Coordinate with clients regarding veterinary appointments, documentation deadlines, airline requirements, and travel timelines
- Help clients understand airline pet travel rules, crate requirements, routing considerations, and documentation timing
- Monitor changes or updates in Spain/EU pet relocation requirements and airline procedures
- Maintain accurate client records and update internal trackers
- Follow internal SOPs and escalation procedures
- Flag unclear, inconsistent, urgent, or high-risk cases to the team for review
- Provide clear, timely, and professional client updates throughout the relocation process
- Previous experience assisting with international pet relocation or pet travel documentation is required
- Experience with Spain or EU pet relocation is strongly preferred
- Experience coordinating with vets, airlines, pet transport providers, cargo handlers, or government offices is an advantage
- Familiarity with pet travel documentation, vaccination timelines, microchip records, veterinary certificates, export permits, airline requirements, and crate requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and professional when communicating directly with clients
- Strong attention to detail, especially with dates, pet records, owner details, travel routes, airline rules, and document validity periods
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple client files and deadlines
- Able to follow SOPs and internal processes carefully
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Drive, email, Airtable, ClickUp, or similar platforms
- Able to work independently in a remote setup
The right candidate should be patient, organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. You should be comfortable guiding clients through a document-heavy process while also understanding that pets are family, and clients may be anxious about getting every step right.

This role does not involve providing veterinary advice or guaranteeing airline acceptance, government clearance, or pet entry approval. The focus is on helping clients prepare complete, accurate, and well-organized pet relocation files based on applicable requirements and procedures.Work Setup

- Applicants must be comfortable working Spain business hours
- For Philippine-based applicants, this is generally 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM Philippine time during Spain daylight saving time, and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Philippine time during Spain standard time
