Oracle Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end target architecture across Fusion Cloud, Primavera, OCI, custom applications, data, integration, security and AI.
  • Chair the Design Authority and maintain the Architecture Decision Register.
  • Approve technical designs and architecture exceptions.
  • Define environment, release, deployment and OCI tenancy strategies.
  • Design and govern OIC integration patterns including REST/SOAP, SFTP, FBDI, HDL, events, monitoring and error handling.
  • Oversee integrations with government entities, banks, payment gateways, e-invoicing, e-signature, identity providers, biometric systems and payroll/WPS.
  • Define Oracle APEX architecture and standards.
  • Determine whether requirements should be configured in Fusion, extended through Visual Builder, or developed in APEX.
  • Design data migration, reconciliation, reporting and analytics architecture.
  • Define security architecture covering SSO, MFA, IAM, role-based security, SoD and DoA.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE government security and data-residency requirements.
  • Own BC/DR architecture, performance, availability and scalability requirements.
  • Support design workshops, SIT/UAT, go-live readiness and technical escalations.
  • Lead Oracle Support escalations during cutover and hypercare.
  • Govern the use of Oracle embedded AI capabilities.
Oracle Technology Expertise

Essential:

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP – Financials, Procurement and Project Management
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen 3)
  • OCI foundations – Tenancy, VCN, IAM, Object Storage, Vault, logging and monitoring
  • Oracle APEX on Autonomous Database
  • Fusion Security – RBAC, data security, SSO/SAML/OIDC

Strongly Preferred:

  • Oracle HCM Core HR, Global Payroll, UAE/GCC localization and WPS
  • Oracle CX – Sales, Service and Digital Customer Service
  • Oracle EPM Cloud
  • Oracle Analytics / Fusion Data Intelligence / ADW
  • Oracle Primavera Unifier and Primavera Cloud
  • Oracle Risk Management
  • Autonomous Database DR / Data Guard
  • Visual Builder / VB Studio / Redwood UX

Security & Compliance

Strong experience in:

  • SSO, MFA and Microsoft Entra ID or equivalent
  • OCI security services
  • Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Data Safe, WAF, Network Firewall and Bastion
  • Encryption, data classification and masking
  • UAE data residency
  • Dubai Information Security Regulation (DESC ISR)
  • UAE Information Assurance standards
  • UAE Personal Data Protection Law
  • OWASP, penetration testing and SIEM integration
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM or OCI Security Professional are an advantage.

Essential:

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle enterprise solutions.
  • 6+ years architecting Oracle Fusion Cloud and OCI.
  • Architect/solution architect experience on at least 2 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations covering multiple pillars.
  • Hands-on experience designing Oracle integrations with banks, payment gateways and government systems.
  • Experience running a Design Authority and approving architecture decisions/designs.
  • Experience delivering OCI landing zones, environment strategies and DR designs.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Preferred:

  • UAE/GCC public-sector or regulated-industry experience.
  • TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
  • OCI Architect certification.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud / Oracle APEX certification.
