Online ESL Teacher-Weekend shift urgent

Established in 2017, Excellent Institute is a prominent language school situated in Montreal, Canada. Catering primarily to Chinese families with children aged 5 to 15, our reach extends across North American and Asia countries.

Our student contracts entail regular, recurring lessons with the same instructor, lasting either 50 or 80 minutes. Typically, contracts span 20 lessons and often see renewal, emphasizing our commitment to long-term student engagement. Additionally, we offer short-term sessions comprising four classes during the summer.

At Excellent Institute, we provide comprehensive lesson plans comprising diverse materials tailored to individual student needs. While we offer ready-made resources, we highly value teacher input and customization to optimize learning experiences.

While prior teaching experience is essential, we offer one-on-one support programs to equip instructors for their roles. Weekend availability is required, with early morning slots being highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university, with a minimum of one year of teaching experience. Teaching experience in elementary schools is advantageous.
  • Majors in education, child study, psychology, or related fields are mandatory.
  • Personal computer with a camera, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, clutter-free, well-lit teaching environment are necessary.
  • Knowledge of French is an extra.
This position operates on a self-employment basis, offering an hourly rate ranging from $22 to $25, contingent on background and experience.

Qualifications

Ce poste est basé sur un modèle d'emploi indépendant, offrant un taux horaire compris entre 22 et 25 $, en fonction de l'expérience et des antécédents.
