Job description

We are looking for passionate educators interested in teaching classes online. This is a work from home, part-time, position which mostly involves teaching Chinese First Language students. We are a growing Canada based company which offers teachers and students fun, dynamic, classes in a rewarding working environment.

Our mission is to transform our students into confident English writers, readers, and speakers who can step into any kind of English environment and thrive. We train all of our teachers to use our online teaching platform.

There is a continuing demand for speaking, reading and writing teachers.

Your Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE MUST BE ENGLISH -
Speaking / Reading Teacher Qualifications: · An interest in working with young children.

· A completed bachelor’s degree

· A completed TESL/TESOL certification

· Accept the training to use our online teaching platform.

  • ECE or daycare experience considered an asset.
  • puppets and other teaching aids also considered an asset.

For Writing classes: · A completed bachelor’s degree

· A completed TESL/TESOL certification

· A year of teaching experience overseas is preferred.

· Accept the training to use our online teaching platform.

· English Major

· Published writer is preferred.

· High level of organization and punctuality

· Readiness and availability to work.

· Quick and reliable communications

· Neat and professional appearance.

We look forward to meeting you. Salaries are $18 or $24 per hour with bonuses

Schedule

· Availability in mornings and evenings, students take classes either in Canadian EST evenings or China’s CST evenings (Canada mornings)

Additionally: any experience with French or IELTS is also worth mentioning. We have occasional opportunities in these areas as well.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
