What does your role consist of?

  • Answering phone and in-person inquiries

  • Ensuring the contractual process meets hotel standards

  • Booking conference rooms, banquets, weddings, congresses, and room blocks as needed

  • Conducting site visits and being present at trade shows if necessary

  • Meeting with clients to finalize contracts and agreements according to the food and beverage sales department's conditions

  • Ensuring all event details are accurate and communicated to hotel resources as well as external suppliers

  • Managing emails and BOs

  • Communicating daily changes to relevant departments

  • Finalizing and coordinating the details of events, conventions, corporate and governmental meetings

  • Ensuring that all clients organizing an event at the hotel receive the best possible service

  • Performing any other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Sales training or equivalent and over 3 years of experience in a similar position

  • Enthusiastic person focused on career development

  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and an innate sense of public relations and customer service

  • Ability to achieve results and objectives, based on good leadership, organizational skills, and a team-oriented aptitude

  • Good time management and ability to handle stress

  • Flexibility in work schedules, variable hours

  • Knowledge of the "DELPHI" system is an asset

  • Comprehensive knowledge of banquet operations (rooms, menus, organization, planning, etc.)
