Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) - Remote POS
## Join Our Team as a Remote School Occupational Therapist, OT(R) in Kentucky! We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join E - Therapy in a part-time, 100% remote capacity. This position offers a flexible caseload building opportunity working with K-12 students. Start date is ASAP. ### About E - Therapy At E - Therapy, we are pioneers in special education, connecting schools with exceptional clinicians through an innovative, tech-driven platform. Our mission is to deliver accessible and impactful Occupational Therapy services to Pre. K-12 schools nationwide. ### What You'll Do - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. - Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff. - Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address specific needs and promote skill development. - Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed. - Provide consultation and support to teachers and school staff regarding strategies to enhance student participation and success. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for academic and functional needs. - Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of education plans. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork. ### Qualifications - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field. - Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where you live and practice. - Registration with the National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). - Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting. - Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting. - Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school staff. - Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and computer skills (including email and Microsoft Teams). - Experience in teletherapy is required. - Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, and other therapeutic modalities is preferred. ### Compensation & Benefits Starting compensation is $48 per hour, commensurate with experience.
