Microsoft 365 Business & Enablement Lead Location Remote Type of Role Contract Duration 6 Months Overview An organization in a highly regulated healthcare environment is seeking a Microsoft 365 Business & Enablement Lead to serve as the bridge between business teams, Product Management, and the Microsoft 365 product portfolio. This role combines business and systems analysis, product enablement, training, adoption, communications, change management, roadmap analysis, governance support, and operational readiness — translating business needs and Microsoft product changes into clear requirements, delivery-ready work, associate education, and measurable business outcomes. The Lead partners with product owners, product managers, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, engineering, architecture, Information Security, Compliance, QA, support teams, and vendors, and supports Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook, Microsoft Forms, Planner, Lists, Stream, Viva Engage, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Work must align with organizational policies, security controls, records requirements, and applicable regulatory and compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities Business and Systems Analysis Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, validate, prioritize, and document business, functional, and product requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and process reviews to identify challenges, needs, and opportunities for improvement. Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirements documentation ready for delivery teams. Conduct impact assessments for proposed product or platform changes, including security, compliance, licensing, training, and operational readiness impacts. Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, defect triage, UAT, and release readiness activities. Microsoft 365 Product and Roadmap Management Monitor the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Message Center, Microsoft Learn, and release communications to track Microsoft changes and strategic direction. Assess Microsoft 365 and Copilot releases for business, technical, security, compliance, licensing, and support impacts. Develop impact assessments, executive summaries, and readiness plans for new or changing Microsoft 365 capabilities. Partner with Product Management on roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and adoption measurement. Maintain awareness of emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and responsible AI considerations. Training, Education, and Knowledge Management Develop and maintain Microsoft 365 learning programs, onboarding materials, user guides, and self-service knowledge content. Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training sessions and product demonstrations. Develop AI literacy and Microsoft 365 Copilot education promoting responsible, secure use. Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery methods. Adoption, Change Management, and Communications Develop and execute adoption, awareness, and change management plans for Microsoft 365 products and service changes. Gather stakeholder feedback, identify adoption barriers, and recommend targeted improvements. Create feature announcements, educational campaigns, and success stories for internal communication channels. Facilitate user champion and ambassador programs to support sustainable adoption. Platform Governance and Operational Readiness Support governance reviews for new Microsoft 365 capabilities, including Copilot and other AI features. Create and maintain operational readiness plans covering support, documentation, training, and service transition requirements. Participate in feature evaluations, pilots, and go-live readiness reviews. Reporting and Analytics Monitor Microsoft 365 adoption, usage, and training metrics. Produce dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports communicating adoption progress and readiness status. Analyze usage patterns to identify underused capabilities, adoption barriers, and improvement opportunities. Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communications, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product enablement, technology adoption, training, or organizational change. Experience gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating stakeholders, and translating business needs into technology outcomes. Experience developing and delivering communications, training, adoption, or enablement materials for enterprise technology users. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 products and enterprise collaboration scenarios. Strong working knowledge of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Outlook, Forms, Planner, Lists, Stream, Viva Engage, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Knowledge of business process analysis, use cases, user stories, and Agile delivery practices. Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and organizational skills. Ability to manage diverse workflows and shifting priorities with limited supervision. Nice to Have Healthcare payer, health insurance, or other highly regulated industry experience. Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 rollouts, governance, or operational readiness. Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI enablement, or responsible AI education. Experience with change management, instructional design, or product management. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CMS, and SOC 1/SOC 2 considerations.
