You will turn complex customer drawings into practical manufacturing processes for components used in highly regulated applications. In this role, you will support projects from initial technical review through production release. Your work will include process planning, ERP documentation, tooling and work-holding development, production troubleshooting, and manufacturing improvements. You will receive structured knowledge transfer from experienced engineering leadership while providing technical guidance to junior engineers. To be considered, you must have an engineering degree, CNC process planning experience, SolidWorks expertise, and experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity to join a growing operation and develop toward a future engineering leadership role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Process Planning Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Translate drawings and specifications into production-ready manufacturing process plans</p><p>• Define machine sequences, setups, tooling, fixtures, and inspection points</p><p>• Create ERP routings, work orders, instructions, and release records</p><p>• Develop fixture and work-holding concepts using SolidWorks</p><p>• Plan multi-step CNC machining plans for complex precision components</p><p>• Troubleshoot production issues and support corrective action investigations</p><p>• Improve setup, cycle time, workflow, and process consistency</p><p>• Support FAI documentation, cost estimates, manufacturability and compliance reviews</p><p>• Maintain engineering drawings, models, revisions, and records</p><p>• Coach junior engineers on process planning and production problem-solving</p><p><br></p><p><strong>CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Process Planning Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required</p><p>• 4+ years of CNC manufacturing engineering or process-development experience required</p><p>• AS9100 aerospace manufacturing experience required</p><p>• GD&T and complex engineering drawing interpretation required</p><p>• ERP/MRP routing and work-instruction experience required</p><p>• Exposure to fixture or work-holding concept design required</p><p>• Proficiency with SolidWorks required</p>
