The Manager, Content Profitability plays a critical role in shaping Rogers' content strategy across our TV and streaming portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Content Engagement & Operations, you will serve as the central lead for content performance analytics, profitability modeling, and strategic insights.

Leveraging data-driven analysis and business intelligence, you will help optimize content investments, packaging strategies, merchandising initiatives, pricing decisions, revenue opportunities, and customer engagement across our content ecosystem. Your insights and recommendations will directly support executive decision-making and contribute to the growth and profitability of Rogers' TV content add-ons and on-platform business.

This role works closely with stakeholders across Finance, Data & Analytics, Product, Marketing, Pricing, Digital, IT, Legal, and Regulatory teams to transform complex data into actionable recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Develop business cases, models and performance analyses to support content strategy, revenue growth, packaging decisions, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Analyze TV consumption, engagement, and subscription trends across video products and content offerings to identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making and long-term content planning.
  • Create executive-ready presentations that communicate complex analyses, strategic recommendations, and project updates in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Support the strategy and ongoing management of TV add-on products including premium sports, international programming, theme packs, VOD, and pay-per-view offerings.
  • Evaluate packaging, pricing, bundling, and promotional opportunities to maximize customer value and business performance.
  • Assess the financial and customer impact of content and product changes, including channel launches, removals, and rate adjustments.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, partnering with teams across the organization to deliver successful go-to-market outcomes.
  • Coordinate and influence stakeholders to ensure alignment on business objectives, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Monitor Canadian and global media trends, including content rights, streaming services, packaging innovations, pricing strategies, and emerging business models.
  • Translate market insights into recommendations that strengthen Rogers' competitive position and TV-add on profitability.

  • Interpersonal skills, with ability to engage, lead and collaborate in projects spanning various internal teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience transforming large data sets into actionable business insights.
  • Proven experience developing financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive presentations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across multiple business functions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of the Canadian television, streaming, subscription-based businesses, media or entertainment landscape is considered an asset.
