THE WAY HOME PRODUCTIONS is a faith based video and content studio in Ellicott City, Maryland. We help real brands tell real stories, through film, video, and content that connects. We built THE WAY Studio because we believe good stories deserve a good home.

Now we're looking for a Long Form Video Editor. Freelance. As-needed.

You know how to turn raw footage into a real story. You get pacing. You know when a cut should breathe and when it should hit hard.

We've already got great short-form editors. Now we need someone who can go deep. Interviews. YouTube videos. Podcasts. Brand stories. The kind of work that needs real structure, not just quick cuts.

What You'll Do

  • Edit long videos like YouTube content, podcasts, interviews, and lessons
  • Build pacing that keeps people watching
  • Add B-roll, graphics, captions, transitions, and zooms where they help the story
  • Clean up audio and fix color
  • Make changes when we give you notes
  • Hit your deadlines, every time
What You Need
  • You know DaVinci Resolve inside and out (this is a must)
  • You've edited long-form video before
  • You can tell a story with pacing, not just cuts
  • You communicate well and catch small details
  • You have solid internet
  • You can work remote
  • You take feedback well and use it
Bonus Points
  • YouTube editing experience
  • Motion graphics skills
  • You use AI editing tools
