We offer expertise and services to plan, implement, integrate, and validate industry-leading laboratory informatics solutions efficiently and effectively.

Our People & Culture:  Our consultants possess a unique combination of technology, science, and domain experience. Our company culture is built on eight core values: Team Player, Strong Work Ethic, Smart, Excellence, Accountable, Professional, Humble, and Integrity. This strong culture has contributed to our recognition as a Top Workplace in Delaware eight times since 2014.

Position Overview:

CSols is the premier independent lab informatics consultancy for science-driven enterprises. We don't just implement software; we architect the entire digital lab ecosystem. Join CSols Inc., we are trusted by global biotech, pharma and chemical companies to modernize how they manage and derive value from lab data. We're looking for a talented LabVantage Developer to design, build, and deliver high-quality LIMS solutions for our clients from data migration and system configuration to validation, testing, and ongoing support. If you thrive at the intersection of science and technology, enjoy solving real problems in client-facing roles, and want to work on projects spanning both regulated and non-regulated lab environments, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, administer, develop, test and maintain LabVantage LIMS.

  • Serve as a GxP LIMS, ELN, and LES administrator, developer, solution architect, and technical documenter for LabVantage-based systems in regulated environments.

  • Design, implement, and support ELN/LES functionality, including template creation, policy setup, and control configuration.

  • Own end-to-end data migration and transformation for LabVantage LIMS implementations — extracting legacy data from varied source systems (databases, flat files, spreadsheets, third-party LIMS/ELN platforms) and architecting Data File Definitions (DFDs) and Configuration Migration Tool (CMT) packages to map, transform, and load data with full compliance to validation and data integrity standards.

  • Build automation scripts (SQL, Groovy/Java, Python, or similar) to accelerate data extraction, transformation, and load cycles — cutting manual effort and compressing migration timelines across projects.

  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and accelerators to streamline migration and automation efforts — including intelligent data mapping, automated transformation logic generation, and validation testing support — to reduce manual effort and improve delivery speed and accuracy.

  • Create and customize reports using Jaspersoft Studio and LabVantage reporting tools.

  • Gather and translate user requirements into functional specifications, technical designs, workflows, and controlled system documentation.

  • Author and maintain compliant SOPs, work instructions, installation qualifications, change control records, testing documentation, and architecture documentation.

  • Support initial deployment and ongoing software lifecycle activities for LIMS-enabled testing laboratories, including validation, release coordination, change management, production support, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

·

  • B.S. Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Chemistry/Biology/Chemical Engineering) with strong programming experience or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS implementation and customization (flexible based on depth of automation/scripting expertise).

  • Demonstrated experience administering, configuring, developing, testing and supporting large LabVantage-based LIMS solutions.

  • Experience with both GxP and Non-GxP implementations.

  • Experience validating LIMS changes in an active GxP environment.

  • Proficiency with Groovy and SQL required; working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python a plus. Experience with Oracle or other relational databases, and REST/API integration, also a plus.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or accelerators applied to data migration, transformation, or automation workflows preferred.
