We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Worker to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that meal preparation and food handling meet high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience in restaurant settings, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety protocols. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients as directed by kitchen supervisors
  • Support food service operations by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to customers
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Experience:

  • Light Kitchen Worker: 1 year (preferred)
  • Cut & Peel vegetables: 1 year (preferred)
  • Food handling: 1 year (preferred)
