ITV - Intern

About the role

The ITV Intern will join the team to support the development of software and tools for train control systems. This position involves design, analysis, scripting, and testing to ensure the quality and performance of transportation solutions. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for a 12 to 16-month term starting in the Fall of 2026.

What you'll do

  • Perform in-house integration and test activities according to established test plans.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor test scripts, while identifying test objectives and cases.
  • Prepare reports documenting the pass or fail status of tests and track defects in the system.
  • Investigate test anomalies by analyzing data files and design documentation.
  • Develop reusable libraries and promote best practices for test development.
  • Provide feedback on test automation frameworks to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members and development departments to ensure project success.

What you'll need

  • Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Cybersecurity program.
  • Experience in automated testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to contribute new ideas for automation.
  • Enthusiasm for taking on new challenges and maintaining high standards for work quality.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
