IT Partnerships and Contracts Manager

Job Description Ready to build your career? We want to hear from you.

Play a key role within the new governance team by transforming IT supplier management from an administrative function into a strategic partnership. The incumbent will be responsible for maximizing the value of technology investments, managing the full lifecycle of software and hardware contracts, and maintaining a proactive relationship with our external partners to ensure that the technology offering is aligned with the company’s business objectives.

What you will do

Procurement Strategy and Negotiation

  • Lead commercial negotiations (with our specialized partner) for major contracts (SaaS, licenses, services), aiming for cost optimization and added value.
  • Analyze the supplier portfolio to identify consolidation opportunities (reducing tool redundancy).
  • Challenge purchase and renewal requests based on actual usage data rather than supplier estimates.
Performance and Relationship Management (Vendor Management)
  • Structure and facilitate quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to align roadmaps with our business objectives.
  • Closely monitor service levels (SLAs) and ensure the application of performance credits or penalties in case of non-compliance.
  • Act as the single point of contact for strategic suppliers to ensure communication consistency and prevent bypassing governance.
Financial Control and Lifecycle Management
  • Proactively manage the renewal calendar (90–120‑day visibility) to avoid undesired automatic renewals.
  • Conduct regular license usage audits (reclaiming unused access) to optimize operational spending.
  • Collaborate with the financial analyst to provide accurate budget forecasts regarding contractual inflation (CPI) and volume increases.
Risk Management and Compliance
  • Ensure the qualification of new suppliers in collaboration with the architecture team and legal before any signing.
  • Maintain the central contract repository (Single Source of Truth) and ensure awareness of critical clauses (termination, data ownership and location).
This role could be for you if you have
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT procurement, software asset management, or vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation skills: you know how to find common ground while firmly defending the company’s interests.
  • A data‑driven analytical approach: comfortable using
  • Excel to cross‑analyze usage data and costs.
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with external partners while maintaining a high level of expectations.
  • Rigor, autonomy, and a solid understanding of IT cost models.
Benefits
  • RRSP with up to 5% employer matching
  • Hybrid work model for corporate roles
  • Employee stock ownership program
  • Career growth through real development opportunities
  • Transit pass reimbursement — get to work for free
  • Minimum 4 weeks of vacation from day one
