Inventory Control Supervisor – Hands-On Warehouse Role Location: Vancouver, BC Job Type: Full-time Company: DelGate Logistics Ltd. DelGate Logistics is hiring an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor for our Vancouver warehouse. This is a hands-on, on-the-floor position. The successful candidate must be comfortable supervising warehouse activities while also performing daily operational duties, including operating a forklift, picking and packing orders, receiving inventory, and destuffing containers. This is not an office-only supervisory role. Responsibilities Supervise daily inventory control and warehouse activities Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Perform cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and location audits Ensure products are stored in the correct warehouse locations Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders Assist with loading and unloading trucks Destuff floor-loaded and palletized containers Inspect incoming products for shortages or damages Verify receiving quantities against packing lists and receiving documents Ensure completed orders and receiving activities are accurately closed in the system Train and support warehouse employees on inventory procedures Monitor warehouse productivity, accuracy, cleanliness, and safety Communicate inventory issues and operational concerns to management Assist with general warehouse duties as required Requirements Previous inventory control, warehouse lead, or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of warehouse inventory procedures Must have forklift operating experience Valid forklift certification is preferred Experience using a warehouse management system Experience with order picking, packing, receiving, and shipping Comfortable performing physical warehouse work throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and leadership skills Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with container destuffing is an asset Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can lead by example. You should be comfortable managing inventory accuracy and supervising employees while also working alongside the warehouse team on the floor. You must be willing and able to operate a forklift, pick and pack orders, unload containers, and assist wherever needed.
