Inventory Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate management of inventory levels, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and support procurement processes to ensure seamless warehouse operations. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, data analysis, and supply chain systems will drive efficiency and accuracy across all inventory-related functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements and optimize materials management within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through inputting and tracking inventory used in the field.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment through effective order picking, packaging, and freight management.
  • Support procurement and sourcing initiatives by assisting with purchasing activities, vendor communication, and price negotiations.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, forecast demand, and recommend process improvements for supply chain efficiency.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to facilitate materials handling, storage, and order fulfillment.
  • Assist with demand planning, pricing strategies, and warehouse distribution efforts to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and demand planning techniques.
  • Data analysis skills to interpret inventory metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packaging, pricing, and shipping documentation.
