Intermediate Recruitment Specialist

This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup.<br><br>We are currently seeking a highly motivated<strong> Recruitment Specialist </strong>to join our team in a full-time permanent position to be based in our Mississauga office. If you are an excellent communicator and skilled problem-solver with strong attention to detail, we offer a dynamic work environment where you will be continuously challenged in all aspects of the testing and commissioning process.<br><br><strong>Administration<br><br></strong><ul><li> Review information pertaining to new or rehired employees in both digital and hardcopy formats, ensuring all documents are complete and compliant</li><li> Enter new information pertaining to employees, both digital and hardcopy into employee folders, including the creation of new employee folders and records as needed</li><li> File and sort all employee files alphanumerically while verifying same employee (remove duplicates, move terminated employee files to inactive cabinet)</li><li> Arrange employee file contents by date</li><li> Responding to emails and employee HR related questions in a timely matter</li><li> Process termination forms, including terminating GWL benefits and MSP</li><li> Process employment letters<br><br></li></ul><strong>Recruitment and Onboarding <br><br></strong><ul><li> Assist in recruiting and staffing activities for the area of responsibility including; position requirements for posting, various job advertising methods, screening, interviewing and selection</li><li> Coordinate and facilitate the interview process</li><li> Respond to telephone inquiries, email, and website applications</li><li> Assist in job fairs and participation with university co-op programs (Travel Canada and the US will be included)</li><li> Build rapport with all department personnel<br><br></li></ul><strong>Employee Relations<br><br></strong><ul><li> Support HR Team in implementation of corporate Human Resources programs and policies for the business-based research conducted on industry best practices and legislation</li><li> Administer documentation such as; letters of intent to employees, verification of employment letters and change to benefits</li><li> Act in a manner that demonstrates a desire to collaborate, share, and leverage best practices</li><li> Work collaboratively and assist other HR staff across Canada to identify and implement processes necessary to eliminate duplication and gain efficiency</li><li> Provide basic HR advice to management on issues of policy and processes. Ensure to work closely with the HR Generalists or HR Manager to ensure accurate transfer of information<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li> The successful candidate should have 3-4+ years of experience recruiting within Canada</li><li> Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an extreme attention to detail are essential</li><li> Knowledge of the Microsoft office software suite of programs coupled with strong computer skills</li><li> Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues simultaneously</li><li> Strong analytical, risk assessment and problem-solving skills</li><li> Background checks and Drug and Alcohol Pre-Access Testing may be required as part of employment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information: <br><br></strong><ul><li> Daily work hours and shifts are subject to change based on project requirements, applicants must be flexible to accommodate these changes when required</li><li> This role may require travel across North America</li><li> Only applicants residing in Canada will be accepted<br><br></li></ul>Phasor Engineering Inc. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
