About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their busy manufacturing facility in Montreal . In this essential role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all production machinery and facility equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency. You will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, applying your technical expertise to keep production lines running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production machinery and equipment according to schedule. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on industrial machinery. Install and commission new equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities in the CMMS. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement timely and effective solutions to restore functionality. Requirements Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with welding, soldering, and using various hand and power tools. Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship completion is highly desirable.
