Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Industrial Engineer focused on Manufacturing Excellence to join their team in Brampton, Ontario . This role is integral to driving continuous improvement in production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will apply your expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering principles to identify and implement solutions that optimize manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Develop and implement strategies based on Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Design and optimize production layouts, workflows, and material handling systems. Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and ergonomic assessments to improve workplace efficiency and safety. Collaborate with production teams, quality control, and management to implement and sustain process improvements. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for new and existing processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping). Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis is required.
