IndiGo Reservation Executive – Airport Job

Job Summary

IndiGo, India’s leading airline, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our airport operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing passenger reservations, ensuring a seamless booking experience, and providing exceptional customer service at the airport. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process flight reservations accurately for passengers via online systems, call centers, and airport counters.
  • Assist passengers with ticket bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, and special requests.
  • Provide clear and timely information regarding flight schedules, fares, baggage policies, and travel guidelines.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with airport staff, ground operations, and other airline teams to facilitate smooth passenger handling.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, promotional offers, and government regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with airline safety, security, and operational standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, reservation systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and passenger data.

Experience

  • Prior experience in airline reservations, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication and technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational requirements.
  • Full-time airport-based role with rotational shifts.
