Overview

We are seeking energetic and friendly Indian restaurant waiters and waitresses to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences, showcase your food service skills, and be part of a lively culinary environment. Paid positions are available, including internships, for individuals passionate about hospitality and food industry service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials and beverages to enhance their experience
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling practices
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or serving tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professionalism
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
