Immigration Case Specialist – Temporary Application

Job Description:

  • Must have a strong understanding of Immigration Legislation of Canada.
  • Must be well versed with VISA documentations for different VISA type under different categories specifically temporary applications such as Study permit extensions, Work permits, Visa stickers etc.
  • Coordinate with Immigration- Canada Department (IRCC) for various client related queries.
  • Prepare the retainer agreement for our clients and get their signature and keep a good record of each client.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Visa and Immigration Service, ensuring that the process runs smoothly.
  • Keep oneself updated by new temporary policies updated by IRCC on a regular basis, or when required.
  • Set up an interview or meeting with client when working on their applications.
  • Must oversee the completion of all relevant visa and immigration documents and ensure that they are received within the time limit set by the government.
  • Ensure that all of the information provided by the client is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all legal documents.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
  • Must be able to help the client to obtain Visas and other documentation required.
  • Take full responsibility for all Immigration issues and operations, remaining up to date with any changes to legislation.

Requirements:

  • Good to have LLB or LLM degree
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Basic IT skills with a knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
