Home-Based Bookkeeper (w/ ProBooks exp)

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy? DCX is seeking a Home-Based ProBooks Accounting Specialist to support a U.S.-based partner by managing invoice processing, payments, and account reconciliation.

In this role, you will play a key part in day-to-day financial operations, vendor coordination, and financial reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities, contribute meaningfully to partner success, and grow your accounting career in a remote, fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal financial policies.
  • Communicate with clients to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the Team Lead and Senior Managers during financial reviews and audits.
  • Maintain well-organized digital and physical financial records.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies, including AI-driven tools, as responsibilities change.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting experience, or equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work overnight or graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within U.S. business hours.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and general ledger functions.
  • Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools.
  • Experience using ProBooks Accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, account reconciliation, and accounting standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
