Essential Functions:

  • Conduct routine and novel affinity/kinetic characterization screens on all relevant platforms (Carterra, Octet, Biacore, KinExA), including custom assays and assay development
  • Instrument housekeeping, reagent ordering, troubleshooting
  • Data summarizing and reporting (ELN, Screener, Benchling, slide decks), timely documentation

  • A good understanding of protein chemistry and/or a general biochemistry background; antibody experience desired
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture (CHO, HEK) and transfection; on cell affinity assays or FACS is preferred
  • Experience with data analysis using PRISM, Codex and custom R/Python is an asset
  • A keen eye and a strong analytical mindset, with an interest and aptitude for DoE tasks (e.g. assay dev/troubleshooting) and data analysis and interpretation
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in the face of shifting priorities without losing focus
