Key Job Responsibilities

  • Build a plan to have the most compelling content for our Amazon customers.
  • Develop and execute the content acquisition strategy for Prime Video Canada.
  • Develop and document content plans, financial metrics and goals for senior leadership.
  • Use customer behavior, usage and consumption data to inform decision-making.
  • Build and grow relationships with senior-level leaders at content providers.
  • Manage relationships with studios, channel groups and more niche video media organizations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all operational aspects of Amazon’s relationship with its digital content suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across all functional areas within Amazon Prime Video.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience.
  • 8+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of the digital video landscape, including a solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies.
  • Experience in media licensing models, evaluation metrics and deal terms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication.
  • Experience managing a large number of account relationships and deals simultaneously, ideally related to media/entertainment.

Compensation
CAN, ON, Toronto - 123,800.00 - 206,700.00 CAD annually. The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being.
