Summary

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Canada. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces, ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas using hand tools and power tools.
  • Implement landscape maintenance activities including planting, trimming, and watering.
  • Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and grass.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on outdoor equipment.
  • Use horticultural techniques to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Ensure safety standards are followed during all landscaping activities.
  • Assist with seasonal clean-up and outdoor beautification projects.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems.
  • Knowledge of horticulture practices and landscape maintenance.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience working in hospitality or hotel environments.
