Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily watering and fertilization tasks according to established schedules and plant needs.
  • Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, and potting various plants, seedlings, and cuttings.
  • Monitor plant health, identifying and reporting any signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies to supervisors.
  • Execute integrated pest management (IPM) strategies as directed, including manual pest removal.
  • Prepare plants for shipment and sale, which includes cleaning, sorting, grading, and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized greenhouse environment, including sweeping, tidying work areas, and sanitizing tools and equipment.
  • Operate basic greenhouse machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Handle inventory and assist with loading/unloading plant materials and supplies.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets and ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (e.g., bending, standing, lifting).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
