About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and driven Graduate Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role requires on-site presence in our Oakville office, offering invaluable experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. You will work closely with senior financial professionals to support strategic decision-making, analyze financial performance, and contribute to budgeting processes. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Support the development of financial models to assess business opportunities and risks. Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for financial performance deviations. Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management. Contribute to process improvements within the finance department. Requirements Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
