Many of our Traveler Care leaders started in this exact role, and you can find Amex GBT alumni across nearly every department. ### What You'll Do on a Typical Day You’ll advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers in the US, Canadian, UK, and Australian markets. Day-to-day, you’ll conduct research on travel options, proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services, and book domestic and international business travel of varying complexity for air, road, rail, and accommodations. You’ll use Sabre as your Global Distribution System (GDS) and ensure compliance with customers’ travel policies, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements. Positive telephone service techniques are essential, and you’ll handle special customer requests while following security protocols to prevent fraudulent after-hours bookings. Collaboration is key—you’ll coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve team service levels. We’ll share more detailed job functions and KPIs during the interview. ### What We’re Looking For You bring a minimum of 2 years of corporate travel experience and at least 2 years of native GDS expertise in Sabre. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with excellent customer service skills in a travel environment. You’ll need solid time management and organizational abilities, including multitasking and prioritization while maintaining top quality. Fares and ticketing knowledge—including round-the-world and complex fares—is required, as is familiarity with products like car service, hotels, and rail. You should have domestic and international destination and geographical knowledge, and stay current on international travel notifications and guidelines per government and client rulings. A demonstrated understanding of the relevant customer base, the ability to adapt your communication style to any audience, and confidence to lead travelers or bookers to desired outcomes are also important. Adaptability and cross-team collaboration are key. ### Shift and Location Please be flexible and prepared to work any shift between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM EST, Monday through Sunday. This is a fully remote position based in the United States. ### Compensation and Benefits The national base salary range for this role is **$39,200 to $72,800**. Actual base salary will depend on factors like the scope and complexity of the role and your relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
