Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.<br/>• Supervise and direct the performance of airport staff and contracted personnel across customer service, ticketing, operations, baggage handling, ramp, catering, and security functions, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations1<br/>• Lead workforce planning activities, including scheduling, training, performance management, compliance oversight, and financial stewardship, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with American Airlines' strategic and regulatory requirements<br/>• Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence by motivating team members, developing talent, and leading the achievement of station performance, service, and business objectives<br/>• Support talent management initiatives, including hiring, promotions, transfers, succession planning, and corrective actions, ensuring organizational capability and staffing continuity to meet operational demands<br/>• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Alliance/Oneworld partners and key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, enhance service delivery, and improve the overall customer journey<br/>• Lead contract administration and vendor performance management efforts with contractors, suppliers, airport authorities, and service providers, ensuring operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and cost-efficient service delivery<br/>• Analyze operational performance metrics, service disruptions, and irregularities, developing recommendations and action plans to improve operational reliability, customer satisfaction, and station performance<br/>• Provide leadership support across multiple stations and special projects as needed, driving process improvements, operational consistency, and strategic initiatives that support broader business objectives<br/>• Serve as a key representative of American Airlines with airport authorities, government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders, fostering relationships that support operational success and the company's reputation<br/><br/><strong><b>All you'll need for success</b></strong><br/><br/><strong>Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience</strong><br/>• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields<br/>• Proven 5+ experience of working in an international environment <br/>• Fluently read, write, and speak in English<br/><br/><strong>Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience</strong><br/>• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields<br/><br/><strong>Skills, Licenses, and Certifications</strong><br/>• Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve operational goals<br/>• Strong financial management and budget control skills<br/>• Effective problem-solving and communication skills<br/>• Knowledge of airport regulations and project management capabilities<br/><br/><strong><b>What you'll get</b></strong><br/><br/>Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: <br/><br/>1.
