General Labourer (Day & Afternoon Shifts)

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

Compensation: Day Shift: $18.60-$19.60/hour | Afternoon Shift: $18.60-$19.60/hour + $1.00/hour Shift Premium

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or Afternoon: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a General Labourer II for one of our clients located in Etobicoke, ON.

About the Role

Join a well-established food manufacturing facility in Etobicoke processing beef and lamb products. This hands-on production role involves packaging fresh and frozen products in a refrigerated environment. We are looking for dependable individuals with strong communication skills who are committed to long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Package fresh and frozen beef and lamb products according to customer specifications
  • Pack finished products into bags and boxes while maintaining quality standards
  • Follow production procedures and meet daily production targets
  • Inspect products for quality and report defects
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow Food Safety, GMP and Health & Safety procedures
  • Work effectively as part of a production team
  • Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or general labour experience preferred
  • Food manufacturing or meat processing experience is a strong asset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated beef and lamb processing facility
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Able to stand, bend and perform repetitive work throughout the shift
  • CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots required
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic
