Full Stack Developer (Node.js/React)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and versatile Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and React to join their dynamic technology team in Laval, Quebec, CA . Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications using React and Node.js. Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs. Build and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and reliability. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and technical specifications. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code across the full stack. Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the application stack. Deploy applications to production environments and monitor their performance. Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection for new features and projects. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of professional experience in full-stack development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with extensive experience in Node.js for backend development. Solid experience with React for frontend development, including state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Context API). Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with version control systems like Git. Understanding of front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
