As a Fruit Picker, you will be an essential part of our harvest operations, playing a vital role in bringing fresh, high-quality produce to tables across Canada and beyond. Your daily tasks will involve working outdoors in various weather conditions, carefully picking a variety of fruits, such as berries, apples, or tender fruits, directly from fields and orchards. Precision and care are paramount to ensure the quality and marketability of our produce. You'll learn to identify ripe fruits, handle them gently to prevent bruising, and quickly and efficiently pick them to meet daily targets. This role requires physical stamina, dexterity, and a strong work ethic, as tasks are repetitive and demand prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully pick a variety of fruits according to quality standards and ripeness.
  • Handle produce with care to prevent bruising or damage during harvest.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets and production goals.
  • Identify and discard damaged, unripe, or unsuitable produce.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures for working in agricultural settings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in fields and orchards.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
