Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Stockroom Associate who is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate has experience handling merchandise, shipments, inventory, or stockroom operations and understands the importance of keeping products organized and readily available to support sales.

The role also requires a customer-focused mindset, as the Stockroom Associate may assist customers and sales associates on the floor when needed.



What skills should you have?

Operations & Organization

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient stockroom.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when receiving, processing, and organizing merchandise.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Work independently while supporting the broader store team.
  • Follow company procedures related to inventory, safety, merchandise handling, and store operations.

Inventory & Merchandise

  • Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, organize, and store merchandise appropriately in the stockroom.
  • Manage the movement of merchandise between the stockroom and sales floor.
  • Assist with inventory control, replenishment, and merchandise organization.
  • Ensure shipments and stock are processed in a timely manner.
  • Support inventory counts and other stock-related activities as required.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly organized and easily accessible.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Support the sales team by ensuring requested products are readily available.
  • Assist customers in locating merchandise when required.
  • Retrieve merchandise from the stockroom efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a customer-focused attitude and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with sales associates and management to support daily store goals.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with store management and team members regarding shipments, inventory, and product availability.
  • Support the team during high-volume periods, new collection launches, promotions, and seasonal periods.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative approach while working as part of a team.

What experience should you have?

  • Experience in retail, specialty retail, fashion, apparel, luxury goods, or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Previous experience working in a stockroom, receiving, inventory, or merchandise operations role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Passion for fashion and interest in the retail environment is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, is an asset.

What are the physical requirements?

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.
  • Ability to climb step stools and ladders.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to repeatedly move merchandise between the stockroom and sales floor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, organize, and store merchandise in the back room.
  • Maintain an organized and well-functioning stockroom.
  • Manage merchandise flow between the stockroom and sales floor.
  • Assist with inventory control, replenishment, and merchandise organization.
  • Ensure shipments and stock are processed and prepared in a timely manner.
  • Assist customers with locating merchandise when needed.
  • Support sales associates by ensuring requested products are readily available.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock-related tasks.
  • Maintain company standards for safety, organization, and operational procedures.
  • Support other store operational activities as required by the Store Manager or management team.

Pay range: $18.60
