About Sheon

Sheon is an independent digital magazine exploring thoughtful living through essays, literature, art, and culture. We are an early-stage, fully remote publication building a dedicated space for meaningful depth, curiosity, and intentional storytelling over fast-paced online content.

We are looking for a thoughtful Founding Contributor Writer who enjoys exploring the beauty of ordinary life through personal essays, literary nonfiction, cultural commentary, and reflective storytelling. This is a volunteer opportunity ideal for writers looking to get published, expand their portfolio, and shape the voice of a growing independent publication.

What You Will Do

  • Submit original work : Craft and submit high-quality pieces for editorial consideration.
  • Collaborate closely : Work through a supportive, constructive editorial review and revision process.
  • Maintain consistency : Contribute to a fixed publishing schedule and meet a monthly article quota.
