The Popsy Bar is looking for a reliable, hardworking Food Truck Cook / Kitchen Crew Member to join our team in the Richmond/Rosenberg area.

We're looking for someone who can work quickly, stay organized during busy rushes, and consistently prepare quality food. Experience working on a grill, flat top, fryer, or in a fast-paced restaurant or food-truck kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items including smash burgers, tacos, fries, and other food-truck items
  • Operate the flat-top grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely
  • Complete food prep before and during shifts
  • Follow recipes, portions, and presentation standards
  • Maintain fast and accurate ticket times during busy periods
  • Keep the kitchen, equipment, and prep areas clean and organized
  • Follow proper food handling and food-safety procedures
  • Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to keep orders moving efficiently

What We're Looking For:

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Able to multitask and stay organized during rushes
  • Restaurant, food-truck, grill, or line-cook experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation to our Richmond/Rosenberg location
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen duties
  • Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team

Pay: $13-$20 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15-30 hours per week
Location: In person

We're looking for people who take pride in their work and want to grow with our team. Experienced cooks who can independently handle the grill and kitchen during busy service periods may qualify for higher starting pay.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
