The Flutter Developer Volunteer will support the development of our mobile application using Flutter and Dart . You will work closely with our web developers, UI/UX designers, and leadership team to implement features, improve performance, and create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental health advocacy and eager to apply their mobile development skills to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain mobile app features using Flutter (Dart)
  • Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX elements
  • Integrate REST APIs and ensure stable communication with backend services
  • Optimize performance across Android and iOS devices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Participate in team discussions, planning, and reviews
  • Provide suggestions to enhance user experience and platform stability
Requirements
  • Experience with Flutter and Dart (personal or professional projects acceptable)
  • Understanding of mobile development best practices
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod), and responsive design
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to contribute 10–15 hours per week
