Salary range (but not limited to):

94,200 - 115,200Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

À titre d’expert.e en sinistre pertes majeures en responsabilité civile, vous devrez assister le client dans le cadre de sa réclamation en responsabilité civile majoritairement dans des dossiers de dommages matériels, blessures corporelles et construction, dont le potentiel se trouve entre 100 000 $ et 1 000 000$

Exigences relatives aux déplacements : Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous devrez gérer des dossiers à la grandeur de la province.

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Être à l’écoute du client, expliquer clairement le parcours qu’entreprendra la réclamation, répondre à ses questions et livrer un service qui dépasse ses attentes.
  • Analyser les garanties d’assurance du client et lui expliquer clairement quelles sont ses protections en lien avec la réclamation présentée.
  • Recueillir les versions des faits sur les circonstances du sinistre auprès des assurés, des tierces parties et d’autres intervenants.
  • Bien annoter et documenter son dossier de réclamation, en respectant les normes et directives de l’entreprise.
  • Évaluer la responsabilité civile potentielle de l’assuré et des tierces parties en consultant des experts.
  • Fournir un service à la clientèle de qualité supérieure aux clients externes et internes, et répondre aux questions relatives au processus de réclamation.
  • Documenter le dossier de sinistre en rencontrant toutes les parties concernées et en obtenant les rapports et déclarations appropriés des clients, des tiers, des évaluateurs, des experts en sinistres tiers, des demandeurs, des témoins, de la police et de tout autre expert pertinent afin de déterminer la couverture.
  • Évaluer et analyser les informations recueillies, interpréter le libellé de la police d'assurance en matière de responsabilité civile, déterminer la couverture et évaluer les dommages. 
  • Dans les limites des pouvoirs établis, négocier avec les clients, les tiers, les demandeurs, les avocats et les assureurs pour régler les sinistres.
  • Veiller à la gestion efficace des coûts.
  • Maintenir une connaissance à jour des produits d'assurance, ainsi que de l'évaluation ou de l'enquête. 

Exigences du poste :

  • Détenir un certificat d’expert en sinistre (5A).
  • Diplôme universitaire ou toute combinaison de formation et d’expérience jugée pertinente pour le poste.
  • 5 années d'expérience dans le traitement des réclamations en matière de responsabilité civile.
  • L’expérience sur le terrain (route) et la connaissance de la mécanique du bâtiment constituent un atout.
  • Faire preuve d'une passion pour le service à la clientèle et posséder de solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale. 
  • Être autonome et orienté(e) vers les objectifs, capable de travailler dans un environnement en évolution rapide. 
  • Forte aptitude à la technologie avec d'excellentes compétences informatiques.
  • Solides compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes et de dépannage.
  • Permis de conduire valide avec un bon dossier de conduite (une voiture sera fournie). 
  • Possibilité de voyager à court terme.
  • Bilinguisme (français / anglais) – Nécessite de répondre aux appels et de fournir une prestation de services à une clientèle anglophone sur une base régulière.
