Associate Consultants / Consultants are expected to work on technical development and proposal of client solutions, and development of internal project plans and execution of approved project plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high quality work that meets expectations for timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
- Support projects or work-streams within a complex program and/or support relationship development as part of an account.
- Support resource planning for projects, recognizing when additional resources and/or expertise is needed and managing their involvement in the project.
- Support the design or development of solutions for clients by working as part of a client or opportunity team.
- Conduct research and analytics, including peer group review / development, competitive pay assessments, incentive design, pay-for-performance assessments, realizable pay, proxy advisory voting guidelines, Say-on-Pay, relevant tax regulations, relevant securities regulations etc.
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients managing internal and external client expectations and satisfaction.
- Interact with executives and / or board members of the client for technical support
- Support mid- and senior-level Executive Pay & Governance colleagues on large, complex projects.
- Conducting background research, proposal writing, shaping opportunities, pitch preparation and opportunity spotting in clients.
- Participate in client planning and leading of parts of presentations in own expertise area(s).
- Support related proposal writing.
- Work with and coordinate activities with colleagues across teams.
- Proactively develop internal relationships outside of team/office including other knowledge experts.
- Capable of identifying opportunities for other KF practices and providing high level descriptions of these services to clients.
- A minimum of four years of experience in executive compensation and rewards, either within a professional services consulting firm or in an internal role.
- Must have experience interacting with senior executives and boards of directors.
- Must be a Canadian resident able to work in Canada.
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with the full Microsoft Business suite with excellent expertise in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Applicants must be in the Greater Toronto Area and be able to be in-office as required in a hybrid role.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Finance is required. Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred
