The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking an Enterprise Retail Banking AI Training Expert to design and build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in Fortune 500 consumer banking environments. You will create enterprise banking scenarios, draft reference outputs, and write rubrics that capture how senior retail banking operators think across lending, branch operations, credit risk, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

- Work arrangement: Remote
- Contractor and part-time engagement
- Stated commitment: 40 hours per week; the project listing also specifies 20+ hours per week
- Language: English
- Worldwide opportunity
What You’ll Do
You will translate practical enterprise retail banking experience into demanding AI-training content. The work centers on realistic operational scenarios, authoritative reference material, and rubrics that reward sound professional judgment.
- Construct scenarios spanning large-scale deposit and lending operations, multi-stakeholder branch network decisions, and complex regulatory examination or compliance review cycles.
- Build tasks across consumer lending, including mortgage, auto, and personal lending.
- Create scenarios covering branch and digital banking operations, credit risk and underwriting, fraud prevention, and customer experience and retention strategy.
- Develop banking operations scenarios involving core banking platforms such as FIS, Fiserv, and Temenos; loan origination systems; CRM platforms; and fraud detection or AML monitoring tools.
- Apply credit risk scoring models, CFPB and regulatory compliance standards, omnichannel service design, and KYC/AML protocols.
- Produce reference lending policies, risk assessments, and executive-level operational narratives.
- Author rubrics that distinguish authentic enterprise retail banking judgment from generic textbook or licensing-exam-level recall.
Required Experience and Skills
This role requires substantial experience in enterprise retail banking. Applicants should bring direct experience working at Fortune 500 scale and a practical understanding of how banking operations, risk governance, and regulatory examinations function.
- At least 5 years working in consumer lending, branch operations, credit risk, or compliance at a Fortune 500 retail bank.
- Direct ownership of Fortune 500-scale lending portfolios, branch or digital banking operations, or regulatory compliance programs.
- Fluency in enterprise retail banking tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of OCC, CFPB, and FDIC regulatory examinations.
- Practical knowledge of KYC/AML compliance and credit risk governance.
- Prior authorship of evaluation rubrics, banking-training curricula, policies, or risk documentation is a plus.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is suited to experienced retail banking professionals who can explain not only what a strong banking decision looks like, but also why it is correct in a complex enterprise environment. Your knowledge may come from lending, branch or digital operations, credit risk, fraud prevention, or compliance leadership.
- Experienced consumer banking operators
- Retail lending and underwriting professionals
- Credit risk and fraud prevention specialists
- Banking compliance and regulatory examination professionals
- Subject-matter experts who can write clear policies, scenarios, and evaluation standards
