Electrical/Electronics Technician (Assembly, Testing & Installation)

<strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>You'll be responsible for shaping how brands look, feel, and communicate.<br><br><ul><li>Assemble electronic devices, control panels, sensor systems, and monitoring equipment.</li><li>Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and electronic component installation.</li><li>Test and troubleshoot PCBs, power systems, sensors, and communication modules.</li><li>Conduct quality control checks and functional testing before deployment.</li><li>Install and commission devices at customer and field locations.</li><li>Diagnose and repair faulty systems and replace defective components.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.</li><li>Configure and test communication systems such as GSM, GPS, Wi-Fi, LoRa, or BLE.</li><li>Support maintenance and servicing of deployed systems.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation of testing, repairs, and installations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>OND/HND/Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field.</li><li>Practical experience in electronics assembly and troubleshooting.</li><li>Good soldering and wiring skills.</li><li>Ability to use electrical and electronic testing tools such as:</li><ul><li>Multimeter</li><li>Oscilloscope</li><li>Power supply</li><li>Soldering station</li></ul><li>Basic understanding of embedded systems and sensor integration.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Good problem-solving and communication skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel for installations and field support.<br></li></ul>Why Join Miri Africa?<br><br>Join Miri Africa for the opportunity to work on innovative, impact-driven technology shaping environmental monitoring across Africa.
