E-Commerce Associate (Shopify & Amazon)

Company Introduction

EXOD International is a leading K-Beauty distributor in North America, dedicated to introducing the trendiest Korean beauty brands to the market. In the fast-paced K-Beauty industry, we identify emerging trends and effectively connect brands with consumers through digital content and strategic marketing. We are seeking an E-Commerce Manager to lead the market with efficient online sales strategies, data-driven decision-making, and creative content across our owned online stores and Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Platform Management

  • Oversee the operation and performance management of our official online stores powered by Shopify.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of our Amazon sales channel (product listings, pricing, order processes).
  • Plan and execute new product launches, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop strategies based on the analysis of sales data.
  • Analyze channel performance and execute strategies for optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on inventory checks and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Manage Amazon customer inquiries and reviews.
  • Monitor marketing performance and propose directions for improvement.
  • Set tangible action plans towards sales goals and lead the e-comm team to project success.

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns to increase sales (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
  • Manage influencer collaborations and social media channels.
  • Analyze key e-commerce metrics such as website traffic and conversion rates to improve strategies based on performance.

Content Planning & Creation

  • Plan and create visual content for e-commerce and marketing activities, including web banners and promotional images.
  • Assist in planning and producing social media content.
  • Develop and propose visual content concepts that align with current trends and the brand identity.
  • Write compelling copy and create designs consistent with the brand image.

Market Research & Sourcing

  • Research market trends and new opportunities.
  • Lead product sourcing while ensuring compliance with channel regulations.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare sales performance and strategy reports.
  • Provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Other Operational Duties

  • Support a variety of tasks related to company operations.
  • Foster an efficient working environment through collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, including strong reading, writing, and accurate comprehension.
  • Experience managing an e-commerce platform scaling at least $50,000 CAD a month.
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing, particularly in social media, paid ads, Shopify performance optimization, driving conversions, and increasing sales.
  • Market research ability: trend analysis, product sourcing, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Customer service ability: understanding customer needs, resolving issues, and delivering a positive experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office — advanced Excel skills required, along with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data-driven thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the K-Beauty industry.
  • Experience operating Amazon or similar sales channels.
  • Knowledge of business laws and regulations (e.g., Health Canada); a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Gen-Z culture, social media trends, and current online terminology, with a fast turnaround time for creating content.
  • Experience planning online advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Advanced proficiency with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
