The Security Solution Area Team positions the value of our best-in-class cloud security solutions & services to enable enterprise customers and public sector organizations to accelerate successful business outcomes of their digital transformation more securely. 


As a Security Solution Sales Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for people leadership, sales leadership and excellence and thought leadership and well as be well have technical expertise. You will act as a thought leader in digital transformation security conversations and lead a team that develops end-to-end security strategies with customers while partnering with field security sellers and account teams to drive successful sales outcomes. You will guide the team on the planning, orchestration and execution of the future growth security scenarios, provide feedback to product and GTM teams to improve programs and accelerate customer adoption. Responsibilities
  • Lead through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring and create clarity and generate energy through an impactful people and readiness agenda.
  • You will lead, enable, and empower Specialist Sales and Technical Specialist Managers, as well as a virtual cross-organization team, to drive Security business growth at or above targets. 
  • Accelerate customer value realization through security sales and consumption.
  • You will grow market share faster than competitors through best-in-class sales execution.
  • Take ownership and accountability for delivering area business results and future growth business targets and influence the technical and product leadership agenda across key field and corporate stakeholders including engineering, marketing, partners and business planning. 
  • Interact with Corporate leadership and executive-level stakeholders to gain support for their team and aligned geographical regions.
  • Build and transform new markets by leveraging technical and industry expertise, partners, and resources and lead the team to explore business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and facilitate customer innovation.
  • Participate in regular strategic planning for their assigned territory. 
  • Review plans via Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings and align plans of the team across departments and drive technical depth engagements with customers and support the team by participating in relevant technical events. 
  • Provide expertise and knowledge-sharing to customers/partners on a specific platform or market.
  • Coach teams on business and market knowledge. 
  • Develop strategies to position Microsoft products, solutions, and/or services against competitors and provide Security industry.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical solution architecture and enterprise sales, business development, strategic consulting, technical consulting, or relevant/prioritized industry (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail) 
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technical solution architecture and enterprise sales, business development, strategic consulting, technical consulting, or relevant/prioritized industry (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail) 
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years people management and/or informal/indirect team leadership experience.
  • Relevant technical certification(s) in cloud technologies, solution architecture, or related domain (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) or equivalent industry certification. 

Solution Sales Advisory M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
