We recruit, train, and match teams of highly skilled professional volunteer consultants with organizations in need of pro-bono consulting. </p><p>To learn more, visit <a href="http://www.endeavourvolunteer.ca" target="_blank">www.endeavourvolunteer.ca</a>. </p><p><strong>ROLE </strong></p><p>We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and growth-oriented individual to spend approximately 3-5 hours per week working with our team in direct contribution to organizational objectives. Reporting to the <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/leanne-obrien/" target="_blank">VP, marketing and fundraising</a>, the marketing director will gain valuable experience in, and is responsible for, the following. </p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p><p>As Director, Marketing & Communications, you will work collaboratively across the organization to strengthen Endeavour’s brand and reach in the skills-based volunteering and pro bono consulting field in <strong>Canada.  </strong></p><p><strong>You will be responsible for the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Executing marketing and communications strategies, plans and messages that enhance Endeavour's brand, reach and credibility with non-profit leaders/organizations (clients), professionals (volunteers), corporations (partners/clients), funders and donors </li><li>Creating marketing and communications materials, including impact stories/reports and sponsorship/donor reports</li><li>Managing various outreach channels, including the website, social media, mailing lists and events</li><li>Promoting the Endeavour brand and ensuring consistency across mediums </li><li>Managing images and videos, including planning, execution and storage </li><li>Maintaining and communicating standards, processes and guidelines  </li></ul><p><strong>As Director, you will also be responsible for management and leadership functions, including:</strong></p><ul><li>Recruiting and managing direct reports to carry out responsibilities of the division</li><li>Working with direct reports to develop annual objectives and discuss personal volunteer goals</li><li>Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to set and achieve strategic goals </li><li>Reporting updates to the Board of Directors as required</li><li>Participating in regular meetings with the executive team and direct reports </li><li>Overseeing the division’s budget and ensuring the division adheres to financial policies</li><li>Maintaining organizational information for the division on the corporate portal  </li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant marketing, communications and event planning experience, including experience in multiple traditional and digital channels</li><li>Excellent leadership, management, teamwork and communications skills</li><li>Strong initiative, attention to detail and results-oriented</li><li>Ability to thrive in a virtual work environment </li><li>Minimum 2 years commitment  </li></ul><p><strong>Assets:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience writing for various audiences and channels</li><li>Knowledge of graphic design, visual design and user experience design and software</li><li>Industry connections</li><li>Endeavour or similar pro bono/skills-based volunteering experience  </li></ul><p><strong>BENEFITS </strong></p><ul><li>Strengthen and broaden your leadership and management skills and experiences</li><li>Build connections and relationships with a dynamic group of young and seasoned professionals and leaders in consulting, industry, community and academia</li><li>Become a part of the growth and success of an entrepreneurial non-profit leading the pro bono movement in Canada</li><li>Make an impact while having fun!</li><li>Future opportunities to volunteer in other capacities and divisions within Endeavour</li><li>Flexible schedule  </li></ul><p><strong>APPLICATION</strong></p><p>Documents Required:</p><ul><li>Resume</li><li>Cover Letter</li></ul><p>Subject Line: Director, Marketing & Communications – First Name Last Name</p><p>Email: <a href="mailto:sachin.ruparelia@evcn.ca" target="_blank">sachin.ruparelia@evcn.ca</a> and Cc: <a href="mailto:recruitment@endeavourvolunteer.ca" target="_blank">recruitment@endeavourvolunteer.ca</a></p><p>Endeavour is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
