We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Talent Acquisition leader to build and scale recruiting capabilities in a growing biotechnology organization. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who has successfully supported companies through periods of rapid growth and understands the unique talent challenges facing emerging and mid-sized biotech organizations.
This position is an individual contributor role with enterprise-wide responsibility for Talent Acquisition strategy, execution, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will serve as both a trusted advisor to business leaders and the primary recruiting lead, driving workforce planning, recruitment processes, talent market intelligence, employer branding, and full-cycle recruitment across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting execution with the ability to establish scalable TA infrastructure and influence senior leaders on talent strategy.

Talent Acquisition Leadership & Strategic Partnership:

  • Serve as the organization's Talent Acquisition leader, partnering with executives and functional leaders to align hiring strategies with business growth objectives.
  • Advise leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, talent market trends, and competitive hiring practices.
  • Develop and execute scalable talent acquisition strategies that support growth across scientific, clinical, technical, and corporate functions.
  • Establish and monitor recruiting metrics, using data and market insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on talent assessment, selection, compensation considerations, and candidate experience.

Full-Cycle Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Operations:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for critical positions across the organization, from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for specialized biotechnology and life sciences talent, leveraging direct sourcing and networking strategies.
  • Design, optimize, and scale recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and hiring workflows to support organizational growth.
  • Manage recruiting systems, external search partners, and vendor relationships to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent experience for candidates and hiring teams while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting operations, employer branding, and talent acquisition infrastructure as the company evolves.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across scientific, clinical development, medical affairs, technical operations, quality, regulatory, and corporate functions.
  • Experience supporting high-growth, scaling organizations, including building or enhancing recruiting processes, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to operate as a strategic Talent Acquisition partner, influencing hiring decisions and workforce planning efforts with senior leaders.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and hiring approaches for specialized and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Prior experience serving as a lead recruiter or primary Talent Acquisition resource for a business, function, or organization is strongly preferred.

Compensation:

  • Director Level Comp Range is $180k to $230k plus 25% bonus
  • Associate Director Level Comp Range is $160k to $180k plus 20% bonus

Pay: From $160,000.00 per year
