The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.<br><br>Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a social media champion to join our Marketing team. This is a full-time opportunity that reports to the Manager of Digital Marketing.<br><br>The selected candidate will be the subject matter expert for social media & content within TCI. They will manage the day-to-day social activities (content & media) of both Toyota & Lexus across all social platforms. Work closely with Digital Manager to build strategy, and execute social and content initiatives that will support key product launches, sales objectives and retention objectives</li><li>Develop Social Media strategy and lead the charge in execution of social media management</li><li>Manage, monitor, create and execute campaigns across social media platforms such as Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok & YouTube. Delegate roles amongst team to provide engaging content with a strong brand voice for social media channels and synergy among all platforms</li><li>Understand social metrics using tools such as Falcon and Sysomos Measure and analyze campaign metrics with the goal of adjusting tactics to optimize traffic, conversion rates and overall performance</li><li>Manage analytics, reporting and dashboards to maximize the social experience for all customers; leverage insight to identify opportunities for improvement and rationale for business decision making</li><li>Provide engaging content with a strong brand voice for social media channels and execute daily posts staying current on what’s trending online and what people are talking about</li><li>Be an expert in digital communication and social media subject matter expert by staying abreast of and maintaining a deep knowledge of social media trends, strategies, platforms, tools, best practices, etc., helping define future strategies and what’s next for the brand</li><li>Work with agencies, vendors and TCI marketing teams to develop monthly content calendar for all social media platforms</li><li>Contribute with creative ideas on how to leverage social media to help achieve business and communications objectives<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>College Diploma or University Degree preferably in Marketing or related discipline</li><li>Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital/social media platforms is required </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal and presentation skills</li><li>Demonstrated project leadership experience, with strong organizational and negotiating skills</li><li>Ability to work across the organization to build alignment and consensus on key initiatives</li><li>Detail-orientation and ability to multitask efficiently</li><li>Self-motivated with ability to start and complete projects with limited to no supervision</li><li>Proven ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiency</li><li>Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences<br><br></li></ul><strong>About Us<br><br></strong>Toyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
