Digital Marketing Specialist (Paid Search)

Join Best Buy Ads as a digital marketing specialist (paid search), which we call a Sponsored Products Specialist, you will play a key role in our rapidly growing retail media network. With a focus on ad operations, you will execute the planning, optimization, and monetization in partnering with our marketplace sellers. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and performance, while ensuring flawless execution for brand partners.

The successful candidate needs to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. The role requires flexibility to work beyond standard business hours in order to support sellers operating in time zones across Asia.

What you’ll do as a digital marketing specialist:

  • Own the end-to-end marketing relationship with Marketplace sellers, serving as main marketing point of contact and focusing on strategic planning, relationship building and business growth
  • Analyze performance across CPC, CTR, ROAS, revenue, SOV, and visibility
  • Onboard Marketplace sellers into Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands
  • Manage, optimize, and pace Sponsored Products & Sponsored Brands campaigns
  • Build high performance advertising plans that achieve measurable business & sponsored brand outcomes
  • Partner and educate marketplace sellers on how to effectively conduct marketing campaigns through presentations, reviews, and one-on-one support
  • Identify opportunities to grow Marketplace advertising revenue
What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years of digital marketing or retail media experience
  • Ad operations experience with platforms such as Facebook Ads, Amazon Ads, Google Ads or Criteo
  • Strong background in paid search or performance marketing such as SEM
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support sellers based in China
