DevOps Engineer, Night Shift, Financial Experience Required – Work From Home

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team. Company culture emphasizes teamwork and focuses on reputed company integration and test-driven development. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with engineers, traders and quants to maintain, enhance, support and monitor reputed company aspects of the trading infrastructure. You must be highly self-motivated, reputed company at multitasking and comfortable working in a demanding, state of the art trading environment. This is a 100% Remote opportunity. Required hours of work are 11pm – 7am CST.

Responsibilities:

– Own technical issues reputed company they reputed company, either seeing them through to completion or handing off to the reputed company escalation/support reputed company.

– Build and enhance operational dashboard, comprising of reputed company critical and non-critical reputed company datasets; effectively interpret existing data and create new metadata to identify inefficiencies of the entire trading lifecycle.

– Build and maintain scripted toolset to enhance areas of data analytics, application configuration/deployment, data consolidation and reputed company other areas that could exploit automation where not already implemented.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university in a technical area such as computer science or engineering.

– Financial domain knowledge required.

– Comfortable in an object-oriented scripting languages such as Python.

– A self-motivated personality with a passion for solving reputed company problems.

– Proficiency in Linux strongly preferred.

– Familiar with SQL or similar relational database system.

– Exceptional communication skills.
