Delivery Driver and Merchandiser (Class 1 Preferred, Class 3 Considered)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver and Merchandiser to join our team in Calgary and region. Reporting to Distribution Services Supervisor, this role is responsible for timely delivery of pre-ordered products to assigned accounts and effective product merchandising and rotating. One overnight trip per week is required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various retail locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct merchandising activities to optimize product presentation and availability.
  • Upsell products where appropriate to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Manage inventory and pricing information accurately.
  • Maintain organizational standards for vehicle cleanliness and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (Class 1 preferred, Class 3 considered) and clean driver's abstract.
  • 1 year experience in commercial driving and delivery roles.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of pricing, math, and sales techniques is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
  • Must be able to work in Canada legally.
  • A criminal record check is required.
